Safety

BMC Participation Statement: "Climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement."

The safety and well being of all participants will be of the utmost priority during all of our expeditions and all reasonable precautions will be taken to minimise the risks involved, especially where adventurous activities are undertaken. By definition adventurous expeditions such as this always carry an element of risk. By using highly experienced and qualified instructors we will be able to manage that risk but never remove it. Clients should be aware that there is a danger of injury or loss of life that can never be completely removed. Each expedition will have a specific Child Protection Policy. A copy of this is available upon request. The expedition will have an emergency action plan for both urban and remote settings and leaders will carry sufficient communications equipment to ensure that they are able to activate that procedure if required.

We take safety seriously.
